Scholar Armor

In 1 collection by Brandybuck
Cosmetic Armor and Weapons

Description
"Walk always in the light, or we will drag you to it!"

Armor for Scholars or Vigilants. The armor comes in both light (Scholar) and heavy (Vigilant) versions, and there are recipes for multiple tiers. Each set provides a choice of hoods, robes, and boots. A circlet is included as an alterntative to a hood. Crafting requires the appropriate perks and materials.

These sets count as similar armor for the corresponding standard armor sets. Thus players may wear plate boots and gauntlets with the Vigilant Plate Armor hood and robes to duplicate the Vigilant of Stendarr look, and still get the matching set bonus.

Light Armor:

Scholar Leather Armor
Scholar Scaled Armor
Scholar Savant Armor (glass)
Scholar Magus Armor (dragonscale)

Heavy Armor:

Vigilant Steel Armor
Vigilant Plate Armor
Vigilant Champion Armor (ebony)
Vigilant Warden Armor (daedric)

Note: The Viligants might disdain Daedric armor, but they are not above tempering their own in the blood of Daedra!

Note: Please see my Magus Armor https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=82220908 for another mage oriented set.

I have one important question: Vigilant Plate Armor... does it fall under Steel Plate armor? So it can benefit from the perk where you get 25% extra armor rating if you wear a matching set?

Reason I ask, is because I looked up the Paladin build for Skyrim SE on Youtube by FudgeMuppet. And the armor that Paladin wear is Steel Plate helmet, gauntlets and boots. If Vigilant Plate Armor counts as Steel Plate, then it will be awesome to play as the Paladin build, yet benefit from the perks that give more extra armor rating. :D

Oh yeah, here's the link to the video I mentioned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wz-ipmIb0nc

This is excellent. Not only does it have the basic blue robes, but it has three different robes to choose from. I was looking for something that would let me wear some sort of clothing as armor but didn't mess with leveled loot or require me to have the dragon smithing perk, where I'd spend most of the game armored and then suddenly be able to craft armored clothing once my smithing was 100. This fits the bill, has three different robes that can be crafted as armor, and 4 different armor ranks so it can be used from level 1 onward.
Well done, sir.

Should be in leather for leather, steel for steel, etc. Circlets will be under Misc. If you're not seeing them, make sure you have the appropriate perks (and the mod enabled).

Hmm, could've been the other mod then that wasn't working.

zzackmann, my hoods are normal hoods in terms of body location used. They should be compatible with any mod that allows hoods to be worn with circlets/masks.

Can you make the hoods compatible with other mods allowing for the use of circlets/dragon priest masks to be worn with them?

Nice work. I've always enjoyed the style of the mage robes, and wanted to wear them but could never use them well, being a spellsword and needing armor. This mod solves the problem!

The link should be working now.
