Description
Starter Ramming Ship. (600 of 600 possible credits)

Designed for Exploration Mode with Energy Bonus in mind.

(You must you the "Energy" Bonus during Exploration Mode game set-up)

Titan Armor Ramming Nose.

Double Subspace Drives.

Weaponless...?

Because it's loads of fun to smash your enemy to bits...

Recommend ramming distance to target: Just outside enemy weapons range

I have found the real key is distance to target. Subspace drives ramp up speed over distance. Hitting your target at maximum speed is critical for maximum damage. With this ship you can destroy the target drones on the Test map with a single, well-placed ram.

In-game, against larger ships, the more surface area, the better. As a starter ship, this one has minimal surface area. Expand the forward armor as wide as you can for maximum damage.

I am working on a much more effective ramming ship, to be published at a later date.

I've tried doin a few of these myself but was never happy with the result, seems damage is very localized and not transfered thru pieces on the target.

Also if you can rearange pts around, conversion or nano will get you more bang for your buck so to speak
