Intro
A lot of people dislike the Trader Pod, be it because of that phony French accent, or the trader pod's smug software. Here's a way to mute it completely in just a few easy steps.
Locating the File
Go to where your game's steam directory is located. Most of the time it's in C/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/killingfloor2. You can also just right-click on Killing Floor 2 in your game's library, select Properties, select Local Files, and select Browse Local Files.

From here, open the folders in this order, named KFGame, BrewedPC, Packages, Audio, then Voice. Your view of the Voice folder should look like this:

Muting the Trader
Rename the file WW_VOX_NPC_Trader.upk to something else (like WW_VOX_NPC_Trader_Moved.upk), or perhaps just delete it.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Hasn't there already been a replacement file for the Trader released?
A: I used that for the longest time. But recently it prevented me from joining any online games.

Q: I just want to remove the Trader's bad lines. Do you know a way to remove specific audio lines?
A: I don't, but I'm sure somebody made a replacement pack that does all that.

@Johnson Assuming things haven't changed, try staying on the server and play for a bit. If I'm wrong, I'll look into things.

@Johnson

Even if you "download" the file when you connect to a server, the trader will remain silent.
