Tomashavn

Description
Tomashavn is a map based loosely on Bergen in Norway. The map is not to scale and the original terrain model is moderately modified for playing purposes.

The buildable area lies between mountain ranges bordered by a sea on one side. There are ore deposits on the mountains, patches of fertile land in the valley and lots of raw material for the forest industry. No oil though.

The highways and railway tracks are placed so that they follow the terrain contours except for the tunnel sections through the mountains (Map Editor Tunnels Enabler was used but it is not required for this map).

The preview pictures use VIVID color correction and Realistic Boreal map theme. The trees shown in preview pictures are required items for this map (I guess there won't be any trees if you don't have the required assets).

The terrain model is from The Norwegian Mapping Authority[data.kartverket.no].

@Kaptein Sabeltann, as said in description, this is based on Bergen, but the map is mirrored and it's not to scale.

One of my absolute favorite maps here on the workshop. I've made many a fine city here. They geography and resources are all just perfect. Cheers :steamhappy:
