Jak & Daxter

Jak était mignon et son monde était enfantin. Mais quand un accident l’a téléporté dans une nouvelle ville, il a découvert un univers très différent du sien. Un amas de ruelles sombres, des criminels qui ne dorment que d’un oeil sous un ciel gris d’où pleuvent les dangers par typhons. Comme tant d’aventuriers 128bits, Jak et son environne;ent ont mué. Il a traversé sa crise d’adolescence comme tout un chacun : en tabassant des gens plus méchants que lui et en volant des voitures. Pourquoi ne pas faire la course avec ? Daxter, lui, était resté égal à lui-même : petit, stupide et orange. C’est pourquoi il est tellement excité par la nouvelle idée de Jak. « Des courses mortelles ? On y va ! »

Jak was very cute and his world was childish. But when an accident teleported him in a far away city, he discovered a whole new universe. A mass of dark alleys, full of dealers sleeping with one eye open under a grey sky from which dangers were raining by typhoons. As so many 128bits adventurers, Jak molted, as his environment did. He got through his teenage crisis as everyone does : by bullying worse guys than him and stealing cars. Why not compete with it ? Inside the whirlwind of changes, only Daxter remained loyal to himself : little, stupid and orange. This is why he was so excited about Jak’s new idea. Deadly races ? Hell yes !
