Description
This one may seem too simple for experienced players but watching a player who was completely new to portal struggle with some of the chambers online has reminded me to get back to the basics with a level thats definitely on the easy side but I hope is still fun.

#F4F ... and please check out and give feedback on my other levels! Ive recently started playing at least 6 levels a day before I start building my chamber for each day. So I have lots of feedback to give now!

v2 - fixed 4 places players could get stuck and removed an unintended soloution.

Infact I'm fairly sure that in portal 1 they had a black non portalable surface pseudo 3d texture that was designed to look like anechoic chamber spikes. And yeah. I plan on redoing all my chambers in hammer gradually, tweaking little things in hammer to make them even better so im sure ill think of tons more ways.

Yep ^^ Nice idea, for the moment I only reason using PeTI objects, but with Hammer they sould be many other ways to do that ;)

True. I tend to use those here and there. But at the same time, Theres a thematic avoidance of clutter that they break. Apeture is a clean tidy symetrical place PeTI rooms especially so. Adding random stuff like glass or lights for no apparent reason sometimes doesnt feel right. I may have to address this in hammer with some kind of 'non portalable' ' surface... im thinking a white version of the anechoic chamber 'eggcrate' foam pointy surface kinda thing... since its well established that you can only portal onto flat surfaces this would be a neat soloution and at the same time, keep the 'science' look.

If you don't want to use black surfaced for design reasons, there is at least 2 other ways to avoid placing portals where the laser hit the wall :
- Place 2 lights or 1 observation room there.
- Place a glass panel on the wall.

Damn... nice find... thats so getting fixed... so easy to forget to remove portal surfaces from a room when the white looks nicer lol

Hem... You can just walk to the end and exit without doing any test X) Just 2 portals to activate the laser receptor ^^"

Pretty good, but you can get stuck in a room after a faith plate if you move in between the angled panel
