Haha, nope. You found a shortcut. The latest update should fix that hole.

I have added one final maze: Seven Layer Nightmare .

I also added a practice room to prepare for this maze: Practice Room 2

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it's move of an obstacle course than it is a true maze, at least until you get on top of it.

If you're looking for a challenge then this collection has four mazes that are tougher than this one, although if you have trouble with gap jumping then you might want to skip the next to last one. I find it helps to guage the jump if you look down just before jumping.

I'll give your 3D maze a try. It look like I might need to bring a snack.

Phew, that was nice but took me long to solve. It was quite straight, but I had my problems with the gap jumps. The light bridge came in intentionally. The hardest part was to find the origin of the laser in the receptor height. At this point, I would keep the maze as it is. It's hard enough in my opinion :)
And you are welcome to my 3D-Maze " PortCube " (<click) as #F4F. Hopefully the puzzles in it aren't too hard for you. ;)

Preventing your shortcut was trickier than I thought. A lot of portal surfaces are now gone and I had to add some extra pits. I'm pretty sure I've plugged every possible hole.

Also, I think I figured out your shortcut to the top of the maze. [spoilers]You can actually do it almost anywhere in the puzzle, but it requires a more subtle type of momentum and split-second accuracy.[/spoilers]. Unfortunately, there's no way to fix it without starting over from scratch, so whatever.

So I figured out a way to adapt your shortcut so it only uses two cubes, and you don't have to hold any of them up. I guess I'm going to have to fix that.

I'm not sure I follow your first shortcut. If you're talking about the portal surface immediately above the exit then I don't see a way to jump through it so that you can see the top of the maze. If you're talking about the surface above that then that's only flipped over after you place the companion cube on the button.

Your second shortcut is hilarious . I could circumvent it by removing the portal surface on that square of floor, but I don't think I want to. You can watch the end of the YouTube walkthrough for the "intended" solution.

Number six manages to be the toughest of them all without any deadly traps: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=100992219

There are now five puzzles in my King of the Maze collection: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92977614

The last one is a doozy.
