MAD Industries Loves some of what's coming out of the ZeroG factories. The Gorman here is one of our favorites, so here is the MAD Edition.

Changes:
-Fixed Docking issue
-Side Cannons for flank protection
-Exterior Armor upgraded to hardened steel
-Optimizations to the frame
-Raised gun platform
-Ramp added to troop entrance
-Removed 2 buggy passenger seats

If you want to add some functionality to ZeroG's form, look no further than the MAD Edition Gorman

Here is the original: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=709424716&searchtext=gorman

If you like what you see, come take a look at the rest of our lineup: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/mediomorde/myworkshopfiles/?section=collections&appid=383120

Here at MAD Industries we like to keep all of our designs pure. As a result we only build in survival mode. You'll never have to worry about flying dirty with a creative mode made vessel. (the only possible exception being vessels we modified, we build and modify in survival mode, but if it is someone else's creation, we don't know if the original blueprint was dirty or not)

Updates:
4 September 2016 - Re-added 1 passenger seat, added 1 more fuel tank, 2 oxygen tanks, and 2 ammo boxes.
5 September 2016 - Changed Plasmas for Miniguns, keep the ammo types down, and added a front minigun. Also fixed some texture/paint issues.
23 September 2016 - Added blocks that require deleting after spawn to adjust the center of lift. Calling this the Dahak mod.

The good thing is, we are back and we will be fixing this soon!

Bummer its so beautiful but now because of the cent of gravity it leans to one side :-(

Huzzah!

Confirmed! It works great now! It gets great altitude and can climb most any hill now! So easy to load in my ship! Well, not easy since I made the hangar door exactly big enough to fit (bad idea), but at least I can get it in after a few minutes of swearing at my terrible design decision.

I added those blocks, let me know if that is what you meant please!

Wow Dahak, that information is invaluable, thank you so much, especially because i did not know about that. We will be making those changes as soon as I have the opportunity, again thanks!

Just FYI, you might want to re-upload this with the core-centering fix. This thing is too big for the center of lift to be smack in the middle of it. It has to crab sideways up the smallest hills since the lift center is a good meter up already and several meters from the front/rear. It also can't use loading ramps :(

I was loving tearing around Akua in this (even having to crab the hills), but I can't get it loaded on my CV to bring with me without building a specific docking platfor that will allow straight loading. Which won't be feasible on the return journy.

If you haven't seen it before, when spawing HVs from blueprints it ignores where the initial build center was and places it at the center of the bounding box. To place the lift center wherever you want it, just tack a couple lines of frames on to extend the dimensionssuch that the lift center is where you want it. Spawn the BP and then hack off the frames.

Perhaps a collaboration is in order between MAD and ZeroG to fill the ranks.

Yes! ZeroG is gratefull that you are helping with the efforts for pushing back the Aestens! A fleet is needed to retake the Omicron Moon, but we'll need an Armada to take down Aestus itself!

Wow Dahak thank you so much! We tried to keep the spirit of the original as best we could knowing how much everyone loves ZeroG's designs!
