SCURVY WMD for WORMS WMD v1.0 8/29/2016
=====================================================

LEVEL OVERVIEW
================

Things have gotten pretty stinky on the high seas.

Scurvy is MnP's newest fort-style map, released as probably the 2nd-to-last MnP map of 2010. Scurvy will take your worms on a mid-1500s adventure into the Caribbean, complete with pirate bones, colonial forts, and dead fish on a dock! The map was designed to be played as a fort battle, but it can also be played quite nicely using a standard scheme and random spawn points.

There is an interesting little back-story regarding Scurvy that you might be interested in: Several years ago, we began work on a map that was tentatively titled: One-Eyed Wormy. This map was going to bring the Goonies to the wormniverse, and was going to feature the last scene of the movie where One-Eyed Willy's dead ship rested in the cave. It was never meant to be, however, as it eventually got abandoned. I had done a lot of work on a ship, and a tremendous amount of work on the dead pirates themselves, surrounded by gold and jewels. Not wanting all that to go to waste, we recently decided on creating Scurvy - a fort battle that would tell part of the historic war between the British East India Company and the Pirates who plagued the Caribbean Seas. This would be an excellent opportunity to bring back all that "wasted" work.

So just for the record, that's One-Eyed Willy over there - the first Goonie. Pay him some respect, or walk the plank.

WHO ARE WE?
=============

MEAT and POTATOES Productions is a partnership between two longtime WORMs - The Mighty Beefy and Master Clogz - belonging to teams, The Meat Men and The Veggie Men, respectively. The two of us here at MnP have been playing since the beginning (well, almost) when WORMS was originally released as a demo to the public. Our common obsession has always been pushing the game to its limits, or proving that it has no limits at all. Included in that mission, is our main course so-to-speak, custom level design. Over many years and various procedures of editing, importing, bug-testing and of course playing our own custom designed levels, we have matured to a particularly sick point of being with WORMS.

You have our personal guarantee that the levels you get from MnP will exceed what you thought possible with Worms WMD. You will sweat and scream and laugh hysterically with MnP's hand drawn, full color, original WORMS levels.
