Description
ACI F-12 Harrier Interceptor, produced by Ares Combat Industries

The Harrier Gunship was specifically made to hunt down enemy strike craft, mainly bombers. The Harrier sports two wing mounted gating turrets able to hunt its enemies, 8 rocket launches to deal an immense amount of damage to capital ships and 4 powerful ion thruster allowing it to accelerate extremely fast for a gunship's standard. The Sidewinder and Harrier projects were active at the same time and both strike craft were to use a top mount hangar. Since the Sidewinder was constructed for rather short missions, the Harrier was meant to do the opposite. Harrier project engineers installed 12 powerful small nuclear reactors and 3 Batteries on the gunship to ensure that it would never run out of power during a crucial mission. In addition to that the harrier is ACI’s most heavily armed strike craft and it is most definitely a strike craft ACI is very proud of.

works great, but think i've found a game bug with it....

tackled a pve ship fine but lost all thrusters.... batts are charged, reactors on and each has 100 uranium ingots the thusters as far as i can tell are not damaged (floated about ship checking things).. slowly floating 30 m/s away from my rock base (just in asteroids no planets....

really odd

great gunship though...

It looks great but a 2 cockpit design doesn't make much sense if there are no weapons except the forward firing ones. You could remove the second cockpit, replace the outer part with armour and have interior space for more cargo or replace the 12 small reactors with 1 large reactor. Or leave the second seat in and add a rear underside mounted controlable gun. Just my 2 cents.
