Description
Description: Rescue a hostage and eliminate their captors. Captors will receive orders to execute the hostage shortly after the players have been detected.
Player Count: 1 to 10
Random Elements: Random AO, Random building picked for hostage to be placed in. Random enemy patrols. Player selected insertion point.
Mission Duration: 5 to 10 minutes
Intended Difficulty: Medium / Hard

- Dedicated Server Support
- No Add-ons Required other than Apex
- Optional Support for RHS and CUP.
- Select-able AI Skill Level
- Enemy Strength is Scaled to Player Count.
- Uses Revive System, but no respawn

I haven't kept up with BIS changes so not sure if this is still true, but I didn't include night options at the time because AI are completely blind at night unless they have NVGs; which if they do have NVGs they were able to see nearly as well as during the day time. I'll revisit the time delay. To give you a hint how the system works now the alarm isn't raised until a guard fires his weapon. At this time it alerts all enemy and a random delay between 10 and 30 seconds occurs before the hostage is set to no longer be a captive. It'll be a dynamic delay at that point on how long before a guard sees the hostage and kills him. I suspect I may need to scale the length of this delay with the player count (which effects enemy count). Let me know if you have any ideas.

Hey Strango. Maybe some more delay before the hostage is executed would do we. Feels impossible now.
Also, stealth movement is a challenge since the mission cannot be set to night time. If I recall correctly, the admin can set the mission time to random or not random, and not random set the mission to full daylight. That goes to all your missions - Maybe add a moonlight/sunset/sunrise/noon selection?
And by the way, we love your work. Lately, not a coop night goes by without us playing at least one of your missions.

Yes. The captors will receive orders to execute the hostage shortly after the players have been detected. The idea is to maintain stealth as long as possible. When/If you get discovered you should rush to secure him before he is killed. The "Free Hostage" option should be removed when he is killed and has been tested on a dedicated server. There maybe a latency or other network issue there.

There may be a fault with the mission on dedicated soldiers. Arrived at the hostage's location, hostage was dead, used 'Free Hostage' option, body dissapears and mission gets stuck.

Does he get killed if operatives are discovered or bug?
