Regarding AI performance - few of my testers managed to beat Empire AI by setting more balanced AI personalities for team mates, such as Mira, Marcus or Oberon. They also stated that level wasn't too laggy and they managed to finish the level without trouble.
I suggest picking these personalities for your team mates. This way they will last longer and keep Empire distracted from you.
Re-applied fix for inhibitor bug.
Added extra paths to Neutral Portals and Inhibitors.
Added extra starter units to Empire. Added 2 Forge Shrines to Empire. Rebalanced Empires rooms. Added 4 Embers on each side for extra protection and aggression to being breached.
