Report a translation problem
I tested the cube on the track platform and it only works if it's 4 spaces long! Any less and it will fall off :P Yeah the laser OR gate is by far the simplest method.. if I discover a better one I will publish it too.

The only "new" timer I saw was the one with the cube on the moving pannel, that's a nice idea, I never tried that because I thought that the cube will fall out of the pannel X) Maybe a version where you replace the pannel by a funnel or something will be more sure ;)
About the multiple-input OR gate, I also used this method sometime, but want to precise that it will stop working if you add too much laser cubes ^^"
