Oldworld Outpost

Description
A tribute to retro frontier science fiction.

Built to provide shelter and sustainability in harsh and unforgiving environments, this ancient colonial outpost was constructed by the first generation of intrepid interplanetary explorers.

Although the blueprints have long since been lost, these oldworld structures may yet prove useful for wayward adventuers seeking refuge in the forgotten barrens.

***Notes – This is essentially meant as a starter T4.5 / 5 base***

-1x combo hanger bay / garage: Can accomodate small/medium sized HVs and SVs. The reference vehicle is 13x10x28.*
-Constructors: 2x advanced
-Cargo: 16
-Ammo: 2 LG
-Fuel: 4x T3 tanks
-Farming: 54 plots
-PD: 2x flak, 4x cannon, 2x internal sentry turrets
-Hull: Hardened steel, critical points reinforced with combat steel

Placement: the footprint is somewhat large – just make certain the area is relatively flat otherwise there may be SI issues without building supports.

The issue with this base in the current Empyrion version is the plants saved with the blueprint. To use this base simply place the blueprint in a creative mode game, remove the plants inside, then re-save the blueprint (Alt - O) locally as a new name. You can then use that version in a regular game.

Please update it if possible, or please consider hiding it from the workshop.

Many thanks - it's in dire need of an update though. I should probably go through and do some revisions at some point. It's definitely looking 'old' now and not in a good way.

I live in a desert...this makes me feel at home, not to mention the buzzards flying overhead are a nice touch in the photo! Almost feels Vanilla (ELEON TAKE NOTE!)

Omni: I made the original base and Eleon put it in the game. This remains here as a legacy version, essentially.

Unless you're the original author to this base that is included in the game already as a prefab, you need to erase the entire description and mention that you simply made a blueprint of someone else's work for some odd reason, seeing as this base is included in the game even for multiplayer servers.
