Description
Rumors say there are different versions of time line out there. Who could had thought that such thing is possible?

In this reality and time line, Wizard from the Great Swamp found the Ancient Seal of Reality, which allowed him to alter the time and change the past he didn't desire to accept. His first step was to restore the glory of long lost Empire by bringing it's finest nobles and ruler back to life. Such act would undo the deed of cruel Underlord, thus have Emperor and all his generals alive and well. The second step was to reforge the wealth and rejuvinate the prosperity of Empire by resurrecting it's most richest family and it's loyalists. This action would repair the damage caused by other greedy Underlord, which in turn would have Duke and his family back to life and coin flow to the royal treasury.

One may say : isn't that bad enough? What could possibly make this worse? Well, there was the twin swamp with the Swamp Wizard who wore the same Wizard staff and had similar thoughts and visions of the better world! What were the odds of these two finding each other?

The story of two Wizards isn't only about bringing Empire back to life. These Swamp Wizards are prophets of powerful Goddess of Order, who was worshiped by many cults and churches of Old and New Empire. Many sought for her help and were blessed for their belief. They remained protected from darkness and evil for very long time, until eventually they began to grow more and more arrogant and selfish, believing that Goddess could not exist without being worshipped, thinking she, was the one, who did need followers more than they needed her.

Years passed and when powerful beings, known as Underlords, will-carriers of Entity of Chaos, marched over Empire, all Cults that still existed, turned themselves back to Goddess, seeking for forgiveness and her protection. Goddess of Order demanded tributes and sacrifices in her name to punish the Cult and remind them their role and place in the world. When she was finally satisfied, she revealed there was the way of creating beings of balance and purity, Overseers, her guardians and servants, the only ones who could trully stop and destroy Underlords.

Ritual of Creation of Overseer involved the transformation of the living being into Keeper of the Element, which later would act as the source of the life and spell force. Fused together and fortified with incantations and charms of the Goddess of Order, Keeper of Element would completely turn into Overseer - formless being who's consciousness was tied to physical altar, known as Core. While Core was intact, Overseer could channel his power into physical world while also remain bonded with Goddess of Order, who would keep the link with her servant and tell him her will.

Though the knowledge of ritual was shared with all Cults who appeased the Goddess, none could perform ritual without dying in light of purity. Only powerful beings of Magic could do all steps and live after. Vigorous praying and continious pleasing of the Goddess of Order was rewarded with another important revelation - existance of prophets and their location was told, hope was given to people who would otherwise inevitably fall.

Prophets did their task - together they created many Overseers and placed them in all parts of the world, each said to protect part of it from Underlords and maintain Balance and send will of Goddess of Order. Those Overseers stopped and destroyed many Underlords during their life, keeping lands safe and it's habitants happy. Everything was at peace for many centuries.

Time passed and Entity of Chaos patiently waited for the moment to strike again. He observed Overseers and Cults who worked with them, learnt the secrets and tricks of power. He saw how people changed, how Overseers evolved and what their union turned out to be when it was tested by Time itself, as well as Greed and Corruption within Cult itself.

This is the beginning of your story, Underlord. Entity of Chaos summons you and three other Underlords, his best servants for the greatest task and the meaning of your existance - to crush and destroy all these Overseers and turn the lands into pure hell. Fear and Death is the fuel of his power, and now he is hungry for it.

This place is where everything started. First Overseer who was brough into this world by 2 Swamp Wizards - Keeper of Space, Taun. He is the oldest one, albeit not the strongest, still he still remembers what he was created for - to destroy all Underlords nearby and protect both Prophets of Goddess of Order. Sensing your approach, he warped the strongest warriors of Empire to his Core, as he is the one who holds the key to other parts of this worlds. While he is alive, no Underlord will stand a chance or corrupt any land.

Entity of Chaos has high hopes of you. He assigned me, Scribe of Darkness to guide you in this journey, as well as tell you everything you may need to know in future. Believe me Underlord, this is not the first Overseer on our way. Remember one thing Underlord, the key to victory against powerful Overseer is your cooperation with fellow Underlords - it might take all four of you as Overseers are usually too powerful for sole Underlord. Try to help each other, even if you are separated, link between you and Entity of Chaos will grant all of you with shared vision, as well as common area of influence since you carry the will of One Master, only in different ways.

Works in Single Player and MP. Recommended mode is 4v1.

It currently behaves as skirmish because game doesn't allow the addition of triggers with public editor. Still, all levels were customized with debug console so you may see some special stuff in each level.

You can play this in skirmish solo or with AI team mates, as well as in MP with a friend(s). Map can be selected via Skirmish/MP map selection menu.

In future, this campaign will be fully transformed into custom campaign, but for that, devs will have to release some new stuff which will come in time.

Question - Do these maps work like just skirmish v ai or is it triggers/missions/etc. like the regular Campaign?

Greatly reduced the number of Lava Falls. There should be less FPS tax now for weak PC machines.

Minor visual improvements. Reduced the number of Embers by half. Re-adjusted the number of Empire units in the castle.

Reupload should also apply the Inhibitor bug, it will no longer change it's ownership when Empire Core is claimed by any other player.

Replaced AI personality with more defensive one. This should give players more time to settle up.

Minor terrain improvement. Fixed bug which prevented Empire from responding to attack and fighting players. Assigned less aggressive AI personality.

Reworked Empire's Base. Now Empire has enough space, food, gold storage and 4 extra portals for fresh units. Added 2 Inhibitors for players to destroy.
