Description
American Farmland

Hi. This is my second Farm-Map. The map is located in the middle states of the USA like Colorado and Kansas.
Lots of huge fields are covered by dry land. A big and a small river are making cities possible.
Its a temperate map.

You should use my Prairie-Theme for the best looking:

Hi. There are no custom assets. Still I can´t help you with old maps like this one.

I just saw these fields on tv and wanted to rebuild it. I know I did a terrible job, because using ressources as fields doesn´t work pretty good. I can´t connect ressources with each other, because one will disappear. At this time I did not know that there were plenty farmfield-mods in the workshop. I played vanilla only. That also explains why I couldn´t use normal streets in the mapeditor. I would have done better with my present knowlege and your informations. Thank you. Besides that I dont support my past maps anymore. Take a look to my newer maps if youre interested they are better.

Ah, what makes you interested in this area? Also, the Midwesst is a very diverse area and you say Kansas and Colorado, while those two states are VERY different in geography. The midwest you are thinking of is mainly in the states of the Dakotas, Iowa, Illionois, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska. Very flat land with gridwork farmland. Take a look sometime on google maps, all of our roads are perfect grids, exactly 1 mile by 1 mile. Its quite amazing how it works. Anyways, id recommend connecting the farms on your map, right now they are mainly random squares lined with trees, American farms are not like this. Although they CAN be, its typicall just open land. Just some feedback, it really is a cool map but I thought you might like some perspective from a native person. I live in central Iowa- the #1 corn producing state.
