Additional Desert Dinos: Quetzal Edition

Description
Mod ID # 772686502

This mod adds Quetzals, and only Quetzals to your Scorched Earth map.

By necessity this mod works slightly differently to A.D.D. and A.D.D: Dilo Edition. Rather than adding dinos to existing spawns which just wasn't feasible with Quetzals, instead it adds a map extension containing nothing but 4 Quetzal Spawn Zones.

The Spawn Zones for the Quetzals do pretty much directly overlay but do not replace the already existing Spawn Zones for Wyverns that spawn in the world outside of the Wyvern Trench, and should appear with about the same regularity. It does mean that if there are Wild Wyerns flying around outside of the Trench you may have to kill them to allow Quetzals to spawn (and vice versa of course, those pesky Quetzals may stop you finding easy Wyverns to drain of their lovely milk)

If also running an Island or Center server alongside your Scorched Earth map, you may find that Quetzals spawn a little bit more regularly on those maps, although I have not tested this.

The only problem I have found so far is that when loading in to Ark, you may hang a little on PrimalGameData, and on the actual PGS_ScorchedQuetzals layer for a few seconds.

If you are running other mods that contain map extensions, especially those that effect dino spawns, it is recommended to place this one higher in the loading order, although it should not be absolutely necessary.

On every test I have made I have had a Quetzal spawn immediately after doing a destroywilddinos command, this may not be the case for you, they will be as stated rare spawns, and may have their spawning blocked by Wyverns.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

With the release of A.D.D.2.0: The Full Monty Edition, I will no longer be supporting or updating this mod. I highly recommend making the switch to The Full Monty which boasts full Ini controlled flexibility of the exact creatures you wish to add to your desert landscape.
