Astrum PDS

The Astrum PDS was conceived to give smaller outposts and spaceports a small but hard-hitting means of defence against larger threats. To achieve this goal it is outfitted with several heavy turrets and additionally with some autocannons to provide cover against smaller crafts. To guarantee performance without cutbacks during combat it features heavy steel armour. The Station features intern gravity as well as 4 state of the art airlocks. The Astrum can be operated with only 8 crewmembers in a 2-cycle shift, but note that due to fatigue the personnel should be changed every month, if there are no recreational means nearby.

Aside from those military specifications the Astrum features a well-stacked med bay, 2 Assemblers to construct new parts, full oxygen support of the whole station, a small recreational part, as well as a kitchen and an observation deck. Noteworthy should be the fact that all windows can be secured via the use of blast shields. To refill the station with all necessary materials and ammunition simply approach from below and dock at the conveyor located there. To counteract orbital decay and to simplify reposition of the station it has been equipped with useful, but weak, omnidirectional manoeuvring thrusters.
