NOTE: Sorry for the screenshot. I have a 1920X1080 monitor but Steam was giving me problems and now I cannot remove that picture. It will serve the same purpose. PLEASE READ!

Ever think the Archmage's Robes were a little weak? Well I was happy with them because it is the only item in the game that reduces the spell cost from all schools on a piece of clothing. But why not make them a little improved and more enjoyable for mage classes? Why do I have to put around 20 perks into Alchemy and Enchanting to get good gear? The treasure should be worth something. That is why I tweaked the power of the Robes to an appriopriate and variabled amount so as to not take away balance. But then again... Bethesda kinda nerfed mages when they made this game! Warriors can one hit ancient dragons; well... you still can't do that as a mage but now you have more mana and still all the strategy!

I also fixed the hoodless version as well. So now you can add it through the console and get both effects. The console command for the hoodless version is: player.additem 0007c932 1

++The improved stats for both robes is as follows++

[] -25% reduction on all spells cast, +50 Magicka, 175% extra Magicka regeneration []

++Bugs++
Apparently this is incompatible with my Better Dragon Priest Masks mod. Why? I have no idea. The CK is bugged just as worse as Skyrim. Trying to fix something in Skyrim with the CK is like trying to fix a flat tire with glue. The only things edited in both plugins is their stats. But apparently when Better Dragon Priest Masks is installed it overrides them both... It only seems to work in a merged plugin but I didn't see any reason to add another mod because of that. Please let me know if you find out what the problem is.

++Info++

I am happy to fix any bugs. I edited barely anything and tested it. There is a similar mod on Nexus but I made this mod completely from scratch so there are no sharing issues because this is an entirely seperate mod. Also check out my Better Dragon Priest Masks mod here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=77424280 They can go hand in hand with mages.

Cool and simple mod. Always bugged me that "artifact" and unique items are so shitty. I'm using mods to power up them all :D

No the mod works. It is over 2 years old. All you do is click a few tick marks in the file to make this alteration. If it does not work it is because Skyrim has deeper programming programs, which it does.

I was looking for this on Nexus but couldn't find it.But this in fact makes it easiler to find because i can just put it on my list an it loads automaticly.Thank you.

Hey, I noticed that occasionally a set of the archmage's robes would randomly appear in my inventory and be labeled as "stolen". Other than this small glitch it was a great mod finally making that robe have some use for a mage~

It's one tick mark in the Creation Kit to change it.
