Description
I don't see many tests with Conversion Gel, so I figured I'd try my hand at one.

certainly tricker than many conversion gel maps. took me a while to think of catching the gel in a second portal to gain extra momentum... actually it took me until I read the comments here... anyway, getting the gel to the top chamber is especially tricky since it still doesn't reach there when the trapdoor is opened and the placement of the window prevents using the same trick as before. in the end I just kept splatting the gel from one wall to the other with it slowly gaining extra height each time, once it reached the roof I was able to get gel into the exit room and make my escape

Wow. Sorry for not responding earlier, I have been on a much-needed vacation. I am also sorry that the white gel did not make it to the top floor; I will correct this issue as well as others immediately. However, it was my intention to portal leapfrog the paint. Thanks for the comments; I hope this won't stop you from trying my other maps!

Sidenote: Also, maybe try the flow to be heavy or medium, with streaks allowed, instead of Bombs. This will also help the paint coverage to be faster, thus, more fun. :)

3. I had to give up. There was no way for me to proceed. Once I had the lower part of the map covered in gel, the angled panels wouldn't allow the gel to fly to the first two chambers, where the cube and buttons are. I had to portal-leapfrog the paint!!! in order to barely reach to floor of where the cube and buttons where. THEN, I had to stand on the angled panels, nearly falling, and jumping to try to reach the gel covered floor and shoot a portal in them. Very hard to execute. But I soldiered on, and made it. Grabbed the cube, placed it on the button, and now my gel falls farther down. Cool, but it still doesn't reach the top level, were I assume is the exit. I tried jumping and falling to gain momentum, but never made the necessary height. Plus, with the gel being timed activated, there was nothing I could do.

I like what you were going for, definitely. But there needs to be more freedom of movement. Go easier on us!!

I enjoyed the idea of conversion gel, I too like it and would like to see it more. Its also a nice mechanic to have the distance it falls factor into the puzzle, so the gel blob will fly farther. But there's some serious things going on here hurting your map. Bare in mind, this is just my opinion, and maybe this is the design you wanted, but here goes:

1. The gel falls straight down. If it's not angled, its much harder to use it to cover the room in gel. But, this could be part of your design. I would angle the fall.

2 Not only is your Gel Dropper timed, but 3 seconds timed. You're forcing me to return to activate it each time I want to paint a surface. This is what hurts it most. It becomes tedious, annoying. I was tired of going back and forth every single time. I would leave it on, constantly, the difficulty comes somewhere else, give us this tool for free.
