great map! im one of the 50% that watches videos. usually to make sure im on the right track. i watched this one

As a Portal Lover a Solution video is always (nearly never) my last hope to understand a certain chamber. I barly watch others. Well you are free to delete the comment, if you think to many will just look the video and move on. (By the counters of my solution videos, I can tell that only a handful of ppl watch them :-) I guess 50% is me and the chamber author. ;)

That is the intended solution, and you did it beautifully.

I am never sure whether a link to the solution is a good idea or not. People might not be persistent enough if you tease them like that. (I know I couldn't resist once, and regretted the decision immediately.)

I needed way to long to figure that out. But I like the very clean layout. Always the best to keep you thinking.

The image was just of an alternate solution, and .sheridan .vespo asked me to remove it so I complied.

I will try to give this chamber another go - without bumping. Possibly at the weekend (I need to leave for work now). In the meantime you should update it to change the surfaces within the glass enclosure to black to prevent bumping if you want to stop it :)

Well, I didn't use portal bumping but I didn't find it very difficult and I'm fairly sure I didn't solve as intended (if thats the intended solution....) Here is a spoiler screenshot (I'll remove it after you have had a look, if you want)

Heh! Well when it comes to thinking outside the box, I never know what is truly in the designer's mind. I tend to trust that if bumping should not be be used then measures will be taken against it. Perhaps you should make the surfaces inside the fixed-cube box unportalable to prevent it. Damn - thought I had a clever solution there. Let me think about it...
