Description
Sin Center is a single player map made as a tribute to the classic style city maps of the original game. You should get an episode 1 and episode 3 vibe from it.
By MetHy & Mikko Sandt.

There are 5 secrets to be found and 2 difficulty settings (Let's Rock and Come Get Some, the later being recommended).
It should take you about 15 mins to complete.
Co-op play also supported.

Story : After saving the world yet again, Duke was enjoying a vacation in his luxurious apartment when the aliens decided to strike again in his very own street.

Ah whoops, so something that's broken in the new render mode.

I will have to go back and look at that in the classic render mode then.

Thanks for the pretty quick reply :boot:

Yeah there is a gltich with mirrors but it only happens in World Tour's true 3D renderer.
It doesn't happen when playing in any other version of the game so I don't know what's up with it.

The map is meant to be played in classic renderer anyway.

Good map, I had a blast with this one and there is a lot of attention to detail in this but I did spot one issue which I took a screenshot of. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/194046562282482594/661DD48E2631DAE4E39B05A087DD40430B8329CA/
A texture seems to be missing but apart from that the map was awesome.

Damn you elusive secret! http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/194046562282545456/FACAB69A8DB029E670217BDFE37A02330C6B9410/

Loved this map, a lot of love went into this. My only concern was the windows in the bar/arcade area. It was the old frozen stacked frames effect, you know when you clip outside the walls in Doom or in Duke. Other than that small thing, two thumbs up man, I really enjoyed it!

Hi, thank for the comment. I made this map initially a long time ago, with the help mapper Mikko Sandt who helped me finish it up and tie the loose ends.

Personally every time I come back to this map I can't help but be annoyed by all the small details which are wrong and I don't understand why everyone likes it so much (on Megaton's workshop, etc).

I never even considered the door in the initial to be an issue tbh. It's true that it's here solely for decoration, and I loathe decorative doors in usermaps (which sadly New World Order is also full of) but I was guilty here as well. I think the idea with going through the window was to give it a "classic style" vibe, like going through the windows in Hollywood Holocaust to find the secret room.

Yes indeed, great attention to detail. Especially loved the color shifted plants, billiard balls, and driving video game sets. Exiting the initial room was a little strange that the door didn't work, forcing me to kick out the window. It would have made more sense if aliens came in through the window, and Duke needed to rush out into the street to regulate, but no enemies show up until you are outside.

Beautiful map! Love the attention to detail and the layout.
