Quite vintage. Does the horse inventory have any weight limit?

Been using this a long time with excellent results. Just two issues to report: first, it doesn't work with the horse you can buy from your steward at your manor. So, it isn't Hearthfire-ready. Second, apparel items will occasionally disappear from the horse's inventory. Nothing else disappears however, so just be careful not to store any clothing or armor or shields.

Very nice mod, thanks! It just makes sense to have this. It's not working on Hearthfire horses, so may not work for others outside the basic game.

Make sure you're facing the front of the horse guys. If you activate the horse's side while sneaking, you'll mount it as normal. Activating the horse's front/face will allow you to store items. This is a great mod.

Also having problems getting the inventory to open. Installed and re-installed several times, but still nothing. When sneaking I just mount the horse as normal. This is obviously still an issue, please fix.

I just started a new game and for some reason I can't get the inventory to open up on the horse when I'm sneaking. I can mount and dismount the horse just fine but can't seem to open the inventory. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I just started having a problem with items disappearing from the horses inventory for no apparent reason. I just installed the Horses For Followers/Better Follower Improvements mods. Might that have something to do with it?

Does this work with Shadowmere? He's the only horse I ride because he is death proof.

Is there any way to access a dead horse's inventory after it has died? I was about to hit a dungeon when it died so I put the heavy stuff back in the corpse to retrieve once I'd completed the dungeon, when I cam outside again the horse had disappeared....

Awesome mod, and easily one of my biggest "ease-of-play" requirement mods.

Has anyone looked into updating the horse models with ones loaded with saddlebags and packs? Right now it just feels like I'm shoving all of my dungeon loot up the poor horse's [REDACTED].
