Thinking with Portals

Description
This seems a little messy, you better get in line.

This episode of "Thinking with Portals" is mainly about funnels and their geometric possibilities.

The last fizzler is only for people that have discovered another "glitch" of the system.

You see, when I read that you got the hint from a video, I am not sure where I should take it out of the comments. On the one hand I want people to solve it on their own, but on the other I am happy if people are happy, and if it takes some people to use hints to get satisfaction, then I don't want to deny that.

Very clever, didn't think of the recursive funnels (had to get a hint from the video). I skipped the first part, portal on edge of blue funnel angled panel, portal on floor, jump through but you probably can't fix that in the pti. I don't see the point of the last fizzler (doesn't seem to help or hinder).

You got it. You did it exactly like you were supposed to.

If you solved it not knowing the purpose of the flip panel, then I need to know your solution, because it is an exploit.
If you didn't solve it yet, then you should keep trying. Hint: You are not supposed to get a funnel pointing downward from the flip panel.

At the moment, I found no use of the upper flipping plate. The funnel is always straight up, regardless of how I place the funnel ingoing portal. At least it looks like I should have a way that the funnel points down to the faith plates platform.

I don't see how the size makes it less logical. If none of the sand-box solutions work, then they are obviously not correct. Are you suggesting to limit the possibilities?

Well I think the concept you got going on here is great, with the angled funnels and whatnot, but my advice and what I meant by sand-box style (don't have to take it) would be to condense the map, make it not so open and large and free to many solutions (sand-box), if the same concept was applied in a smaller more logical map, I think it would be brilliant :)

I found and fixed your exploit!
I don't understand what you mean by "sand-box style". Is it, because the solution is not obviously layed out in front of you? The white walls are simply white because I wanted more non-white surfaces in this map than just the few needed to solve this puzzle - they are purely cosmetic.

Interesting concept, but I`m positive I solved unintended. I used the blue funnel to land on a platform adjacent to the exit door, changed to orange funnel, shot it on the wall closest to the exit door. Jumped in the funnel, jumped onto exit door platform. With a bit of work and a map that wasn`t so large and sand-box style, this would be cool.
