Description
NOTE: The 5.0 update broke this unfortunately :| Hopefully it will work again in the future

This mod offers a variation of the special maps offered in The African Kingdoms. All maps will start with the normal amount of villagers instead of 10+.

Also, the position of the host player on Frontline and Snakepit has been shifted to the deep pocket.

The terrain of the gold pockets in canyon has been modified slightly to make mining camp placement easier.

These new maps will appear in the custom map list.

IMPORTANT: These maps will not auto-transfer. All players need to be subscribed to this mod or it won't work

Feel free to look at the files of this mod to see how you can make your own special maps.

Basic guide:

1. In your mod folder, place a .rms and a .scx file of the same name in the resources/_common/drs/gamedata_x2 folder. These make up the scenario and random map parts of the special map
2. The scenario part lets you modify player position and allows you to make fixed terrains and resources
3. The rms part lets you place extra resources, units, etc. and you can replace fixed terrain with dynamic terrain. For example, in the scenario part you could have grass 1 and 2 as the terrains.
In the rms, you could replace grass 2 with shallows, water, etc. by using create_terrain with grass 2 as the base terrain
4. To make it appear in the custom maps list, place a copy of the rms file in the resources/_common/random-map-scripts folder. The actual contents of this file don't matter, only the name. Only the .rms in the gamedata_x2 folder is actually used.
