Rust, Wolf Companion

In 1 collection by DrSphinctanium

Description
Faithful Wolf companion with a lust for meat and all things salty.
Rust gets into a frenzy when he sinks his teeth into something raw and belches all kinds of magic if you feed him the right stuff. Giggady.

To find him, look for his tent by the river behind Whiterun Stables.

Features;
- 100% REAL lovable scamp
- Feedable, he likes meat and different salts
- Meat gives him a double damage buff
- Salts give him an elemental damage buff

If you like (or, heaven forbid, dislike) the mod, don't forget to rate!

Creator's Note:
He's marked as protected, not essential, like all vanilla followers.
"To be killed, as of the 1.9 Patch, a protected NPC must have his or her health fall to zero from a direct hit by the player."

If he dies, you can always reload. You murderous swine!

To Spawn him if he dies;
Open the console with ` (button left of 1) and type 'Help Rust' without the quotes in the console, press enter. There should be a thing that looks like; <NPC> Rust XXXXXXXXXX*
*A series of numbers and letters.

Type player.placeatme XXXXXXXXXX (with XXXXXXXXX being whatever shows up after '<NPC> Rust')
If you are still unsure after reading this, look up 'how to spawn npcs in skyrim' tutorials on youtube.

If you run into a problem with dismissing Rust, leaving you unable to recruit other animals, here's how to fix it;
Open the consle and type "set playeranimalcount to 0" without the speechmarks.
Props to R. Wolfe for figuring that out!

He's a good companion but the wolf is really noisy and buggy

Works as advertised, tried it out for a few hours. He's good in open spaces, but would like some options on how he attacks. Say for instance, just go after archers, or mages etc.

@R. Wolfe that's the one. I figured it would be something to do with that variable but never looked into the console command for it. 'Preciate it man! putting it in the description with credits.

Love the mod, but I ran into an issue where Rust was unresponsive and could not be dismissed or called upon. I found the solution after a few days; To anyone else that finds this issue use console command "set playeranimalcount to 0" to reset your animal followers, then you can ask him to follow again.

Does he fill follower slot, or pet slot?
