Now, have I ever told you the tale of the little depraved town down yonder that's run by nuthin' but cold-blooded killers? No? And you don't want to hear about it? Well too bad, it's not a very long tale so I'm tellin' it to ya anyway.

You see, in that there town is a group of corrupt lawmen that call themselves "The Righteous Rangers". Now, these folks are anything but "righteous". They lie, they cheat, they steal, they kill, but worst of all is the fact that they're the only ones runnin' the damn place! The poor saps who live there ave' to deal with these crooks every day.

The townsfolk call em' the "Cut-Throat Club" behind their backs. Rightfully so.
They'd put a gun to your head and take whatever coin you had daily, would stab ya' if you even dared look at em funny, and would take one of your loved ones away for a night and do lord knows what with em' after throwing you in one of the town cells.
Gives me the shivers just thinkin' about it...

What's that? Why don't they just leave town?
Well son, there's a good reason why. The Cut-Throats just won't let em'! See, the town is very profitable for its whiskey and firearms trade. The Rangers keep the townies in line and make them work like trained dogs. Their mob of goons are always on the lookout for runners so I hear. The whole place is just a dirty labor camp under the guise of a little town in the middle of no-man's land. If you're an outsider visiting, you'll be treated like royalty. They wouldn't dare risk the operation and sour their trade. But if ya get a bit too curious... Well, lets just say those people go "missing" and never get to return home. Scary stuff kid.
