2024 update:

Updated to actual data on 27th of December 2023 (2-EQS-*** & Q-ARC-***)

~ Restarted from standard SCS file as they simplified and (semi)standardised my old mod.
~ Updated speed: Changed maximum speed outside urban area's from 90 to 70 (changed in 2017). This also removes the complexity and reduces the file size.
~ Removed old QAA-111 license plates > Never see them anymore or only on very old trailers which we don't have ingame and are IRL most of the time trailers that are lost, hidden, stolen, forgotten about, ...
~ Added more instances of recent plates compared to old plates since they are not that comon at all.
~ Fixed SCS using wrong characters in wrong places where they are not allowed
~ Removed custom license plates option, as they occured too often (no one requested anything anyway).
~ Removed the possibility to get illegal European combinations (political parties, insults, ...)

Make sure when using traffic mods, promods or any mods that manipulate license plate files, to put this mod above those.
