Description
Implements Willpower cooldown factor for light manipulation charge recovery

Important Note:
Does not apply intended affect to characters that have the light manipulation power prior to the mod being installed.
Advice is to only subscribe when no such character's are present.

On further investigation not even Harmony will be able to do it the easy way. Fixing the relic part will either require me to rework this mod to modify the original Light Manipulation via harmony instead of creating a new light manipulations, or the devs reworking how sultan relics find mutations they can give.

I'll try reaching out once things settle a bit because they might prefer to make it so modders can more easily put their new mutations in the list of acceptable relic mutations, but switching to harmony modification of the original light manipulation is probably something I should do anyway as a good practices thing (Timeline of tbd).

could try asking the devs for a hook for your mod, just so you don't have to bother with harmony patches? :Emil: that might work.
but like i said, most sultan relic mutations are not working right now, so even if it's fixed the odds of it working properly are probably pretty low. i'd just wait till they get patched back to former functionality, or right before that happens, before reaching out. but that's just me personally!

I suspect this bug predates any relic changes in alpha, as the Relic light manipulation points at the old implementation. In order to point it at the modded implementation I suspect I'm going to need to learn harmony and redirect that pointing, not sure when I'll be able to have that fix up.

hey! so there's currently a bug with this on the newest alpha: if you equip a relic that gives you a boost to your light manipulation levels, the relic will instead make a separate lase and ambient light ability. rather than just stacking on to the existing mutation temporarily.
with that in mind, there's larger bugs happening with relics that give mutations on the whole, so it's probably worth to hold off investigating/fixing it until they've been patched. when the relics are fixed it might fix the issue listed above, but if it doesn't, i'll send another comment here :Emil:

oh neat neat neat neat. going to try this out, i love light manipulation and making the cooldown a bit faster would be wonderful :Emil:

Tested and it was broken, fixed and confirmed function in beta and default branches

So this *is* functional? I would greatly appreciate that. Really odd that willpower does nothing, considering what it is.

I stopped maintaining this back in march when they made this default functionality, but that change was later reverted. Updated and quick-tested in currently default build.
