The city of New Mannami, failing every known pollution test and having homicide rates that compete with those of some actual war-zones, is probably the last place to live if you want to continue living. Still, it's better than nothing, and nothing is precisely what these machines want to reduce it to.

i feel like the mission name "synthwave showdown" is a bit silly since the game takes place in the very early 70's and synthwave is not only based on the 80's but wasn't invented until the 2010's
