Description
The new sport! Catching cubes. Who knew you could have so much trouble catching a simple cube?

This episode of Thinking with Portals is mainly about catching cubes - duh!

I got the idea for the first room of this map while playing "Interlude" by ColorCubeMan. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=78359239
It is a very well executed map built with hammer. I would recommend it to anyone.

Thanks a lot for finding the exploit in the third room, I will fix it soon.
The second room is much easier than the first, but I am too lazy to remove it ;-)

This one took me a while, the first room was relatively easy, the second even easier, and the last incredibly hard...and I still don't think I solved it the right way. Here is my dem (practiced run, not first run :) twp9-catchingcubes [www.dropbox.com]

Had to leave just after I entered room three, so no, didn't solve it yet... Will give it another go tomorrow though!

To be honest, I have been thinking a lot about eliminating the second room, because it is really easy. Did you solve the third room though?

Don't know but the second room is much easier than the first room ... seems like an exploit to me: just funnel right over the liquid and catch the cube, then move the funnel step by step so that you can grab the cube under the grid. Was that the intention?

Wow! This map is just perfect! Kept me playing over one hour..
Even though i found three solutions in the second room and two in the last room, there was no way to make it any easier..I had a lot of fun with this one..
The concept of the last room is just awesome :)
