Description
This is a "blank canvas" Starting Terrain for you to build your park in. I didn't like the starting flat terrains so decided to try and make some pre-made terrains to use instead. Hopefully it makes starting up a bit more exciting, having terrain already there to work with.

There's gold in them thar hills! Your Great Uncle spent his life mining the hills in the reserve, few could've guessed that the motherlode was hidden beneath Mount Creosote itself! After retiring, he left the reserve to you. Friends and family anticipated your entrepreneurial flare would involve vast digging machines and full scale mining operations to uncover the hidden wealth, but you have other plans! With an extensive open prairie, a large foreboding canyon and the rugged Mount Creosote at the heart of your new land. The time is perfect to build the greatest Theme Park the world has ever seen!

This is my third Starting Terrain, I really love making these for people to use and hope you all enjoy exploring the Reserve and creating your fantastic parks in it. Please feel free to leave some feedback or a comment with any ideas you have for other Starting Terrains!

Thank you I have been looking for something like starting maps. I really suck at making good terrain so I always start a park and never finish one. So thank you these are awesome. Ive subbed to a few of your maps. Good Job on making them.

They should still work. The update changed some things, so there might be the odd floating tree or waterfall effect out of place. But they're still usable!

I have not had a chance to look through them all again since the update but the ones I have checked are all working fine except for a few moved items.

Thank you for the kind words, I hope you find them useful!

Do the small maps work in the current version? I would love to use them eventhough they're smaller, but I think I saw you say somewhere that the large size broke your small maps? And please keep making maps, because they're amazing!

Unfortunately there is no way for me to currently change these over to or create in Challenge mode. The park funds get used up when I try to edit the terrain, there's just not enough money and I would hate to have to upload a Challenge map that already has a load of loans etc.

can you use this in challenge mode?

Yeah, here's hopes to that! I googled a bit yesterday to see if anyone had tried to reach out to the developers about this but I didn't find anything conclusive, unfortunately. Perhaps with attention to creators like yourself we'll hopefully get a way to use these wonderful terrains in the future though!

Thank you all for the kind feedback! MiMiCloud, unfortunately I don't think I can create a park in Sandbox mode and then save it as a Challenge mode map. Hopefully I'm wrong and there is a way I have not discovered yet. I could start a blank Challenge map and then make my terrain in it, but I would be using up Park funds to create the terrain and then when it is saved it would be at whatever difficulty I selected before creation. I hope they add a feature to allow me save the same map in different modes.

I absolutely love the work you've done with the 3 park terrains. But I'd so much love to play them in Challenge mode, is there a way to do so? It only allows me to start the park in sandbox as of now, presumeably because you've made all this awesome work in a sandbox park.
