Description
This is a "blank canvas" Starting Terrain for you to build your park in. I didn't like the starting flat terrains so decided to try and make some pre-made terrains to use instead. Hopefully it makes starting up a bit more exciting, having terrain already there to work with.

Tropical beaches, swaying palm trees and gentle breezes abound! Saltspray Cove, a small archipelago of islands set in a very small inland sea make the perfect location for a coaster park teeming with excited guests! Just one small problem... Not much land! I'm sure your crafty, genius-like brains can introduce a little verticality to this predicament.

For an easier challenge, try managing this small resort once the tide goes out! (Check out the Low Tide version in the Starting Terrains Collection to get a bit more building space!)

This is the fourth park in my Starting Terrains series, it comes in two versions, this one, the High Tide version is a little harder with less building space. The other one is the Low Tide version, which has more building space. I am really enjoying building these "Blank Canvas" style terrains for you all to build in and really appreciate the kind feedback I have received :)

Hope you all have fun exploring the Cove and building your dream Park in it!

**UPDATED -- I've updated this map as there was some horrific oversight on my part that prevented people from continuing the entrance pathway after the entry booth thing. I really should have tested that, sorry. I think the problem was that I edited the actual starting path in this map to make more space for the beach/sea, but then attached my new entryway directly to the remains of the path I had been deleting. Apparently the game didn't like that and I needed to place a piece of new path between the old path and the new entryway, anyway all should be working properly now! :D**

I like the idea, but I find that using buildings on my starting terrains is very hit or miss in terms of what people prefer. Especially on a game like this where the freedom to create very intricate and detailed buildings is present, I could make a map with a large building and some people might consider it ugly, boring or not detailed enough, then on the other hand, if I make building very detailed and intricate, people could have performance issues.

I feel that this idea would be better suited to being a Custom Scenario where there is a bit of history to the map, an explaination of what the warehouse is/was etc. Rather than a Starting Terrain, where people kinda come for more of a "Blank Slate" that they can go mad in.

I love the idea but I doubt I'd be able to create anything good enough to do it justice!

I was kind of inspired of the idea from an old scenario on a (very similar :steamfacepalm: ) game in the past. Something along the lines of a very, very country desert area (alot of flat plains) and an old abandoned warehouse building that was perhaps a factory or some type of industrial warehouse with a large open interior that was cleaned out and went out of business. I don't know how you feel about buildings on your starting terrains but it was just an idea, I thought it would make for a cool half-indoors half-outdoors small theme park.

Thanks for the comment! In terms of requests... I wouldn't want to promise anything as I create these when I'm just relaxing and enjoying the moment. However, if you've got any ideas for a starting map I'd be happy to hear it and possibly discuss it further if it sounds like something I'd be interested in doing! :)

Love these, hope you keep making them.
Do you take requests for starting maps?

The Entrance path is obstructed. You are unable to add paths to the park for some reason.
