Battle of Europe

Play as either the United Kingdom, Spain, Greece, or Finland in an attempt to win control of Europe (Yes, I have attempted to draw Europe, plus nearby land such as North Africa). Each require very different approaches.

United Kingdom - The U.K. should take Ireland, Iceland, and France as soon as possible. The U.K. is able to capture a mana shrine and gold shrine very early on, and has a gateway from the outset. It is the only faction to have a research shrine (albeit Spain may contest this). The U.K. may even try to take Norway from Finland.

Finland - Finland should take Scandinavia and Russia, as well as Poland. Doing so grants Finland large amounts of land. Finland, thus, is likely to gain map control and shall enjoy a somewhat isolated position. However, Finland has access to less gold and poorer shrines (no mana shrine). Finland also has to contest with more Empire units.

Greece - Greece needs to act quickly and take Italy as soon as possible. It should also try to take control of North Africa, as Spain is going to be targetting there very early on. Greece is in a unique position to gain access to any part of the map, as well as exclusive access to Turkey. Greece has more gold than any other faction.

Spain - Spain shall want to take as much of France as possible, and rush to take Italy. Spain faces threats from two sides: the U.K. and Greece. However, Spain has the best access to North Africa, and can claim neutral units quicker than any of the other countries. Spain also has two mana shrines (albeit Greece may try to take one of them).
