Damocles Shipyards - the wholly-owned sister corporation to Xero X - is proud to announce today the advent of a New Age of Land-Based Combat. Dubbed the 'Moving Fortress', the DSX-01X Balrog is the first 'Land Battleship' from Damocles Shipyards. Measuring at an amazing eighty meters from front to rear, the Balrog is more akin to a mobile base then an actual 'Hover Vehicle'.

Deployed by the ever-present Space Arm of the United Earth Union, the Strategic Response Force, the DSX-01X Balrog is ready to be deployed onto any surface, and take the fight to your enemies! Able to seat eighty soldiers, along with a pilot, navigator and engineer. Don't let that number fool you! It'll take that number of people to operate the Balrog.

A service bay in the rear can accommodate up to Eight Class II Hover Tanks (or Two Class IV's) and enough construction capability to easily service and supply the Vehicles.

Damocles Shipyards headed the construction of the Balrog. Her chief engineer, Arturace Loray, gave a statement about the Balrog! "What did I build? Honestly, I have no idea. Someone tell me! First it was "Hey let's make a hover tank!?" Then 12 beers later....Ho boy..." You made us money, Mr. Loray! And for that, we thank you!

Creators Note. The DSX-01X Balrog is fully capable of traversing the most inhospitable terrain in the system.
