Description
The Scorpion Light Gunship is designed to provide close fire support to assault teams in Zero G. It features five Gatling guns and twin sequenced reloadable rocket launchers. As a short range attack craft the Scorpion does not store much oxygen nor does it produce it's own supply. It is however, considerably more resilient than Hyperion Systems fighters and can be used to fight defensively versus enemy small attack craft. Decoys mounted at the front of the ship as well as a lightly armoured cockpit allow the Scorpion to engage light AI turret defence without taking serious damage, although caution is advised when engaging massed enemy fire.

Author's Notes
I built this ship as an alternative to the boom and zoom fighters I've produced previously. This ship works well as a strafing fighter and the armoured cockpit should prevent one shot kills that plague open cockpit fighters. Make no mistake though, this is not a heavily armoured craft, so remember to stay at top speed when engaging enemies.

Known Issues
In Stable the lower third of the Velocity Indicator display is cut off. It works fine in Develop though.

Great ship.

Some feedback:

Gatling 6 is no more connected to the conveyor system. Display scripts does not work anymore.

This ship is very good, although I'd prefer the peephole to be switched with a few cameras.

Briktator, you subscribe to the ship and press f10 with creative capabilities after loading your world up. You can then select the ship from your list of blueprints and paste it in as you would with text.
