As a fan of strategy games, I once played SimCity 2000 in conjunction with Medieval 2 Total War, keeping score in both games to use to set maximum funds for both armies. This was because a city simulator is the perfect example of base building while a real time tactics game of the Total War genre is the perfect example of army management. Plus, I have the overall map to use in turn-based speed in the latter set of games.

Games of both genres have taught me an objective view of politics and economy as I get to play as the politician, knowing that politicians are simply as imperfect as the average man. However, I feel kind of awkward when the cities that I pretend are at war with each other look a bit modern or futuristic when "teams" manage them and a good deal a bit more old fashioned when they are invaded. Therefore, I decided to compile a few of the mods and assets to make the cities a bit classier, including a set of city walls, brick roads, European assets, and left-hand traffic. Paradox Interactive also distributed King Arthur Wargame which I happen to own so I would have left-hand traffic to replicate what exists in Modern England.

These workshop items should be used in conjunction with the Essentials collection, but not with the Future collection.
