there are a couple I have used and tried. The one here was an older faction colour than the one Im using now. I think the new one is less glarey than this, but this faction set is:Terran ship style, Iconian Ship Colour, Materials Surface #10 and #10, Textures Asteroid 3 and Material 1.

My new colour set is: Terran ship style, Ship Colour Steel Inverted, Materials Surface #10 and #10, Texture Iridium Painted annd Material 1.

When Im happy with the colour set and icons etc, I will be releasing my Empire Faction. At the moment I am much happier with the new colour set. Still wishing we could make our own colour sets! Hope this helps you. (I have encluded the ship style as this can effect the material colours and textures with different styles).

Out of curiosity, do you know what faction colors and material types you were using for this build?
