*Crowe-3*

ZeroG's agile light fighter is back! We have been hard at work getting our newest version of Crowe up and running and ready for the ZeroG fleet! With both speed and style Crowe is ready for action!

Armor isn't really Crowe's forte, so use your speed to your advantage.

We have promptly outfitted Crowe with fast simple weapons
2x Pulse Lasers
2x Homing Rockets

Also included are,
Constructer
Cargo
Oxygen
Fridge
and of course ammo boxes!

Of course being the 3rd generation of Crowe we had to improve upon its effectiveness. This means we have upgraded the generators for a decrease in power usage. This combined with a more robust vertical thrust should help make Crowe more usable in higher gravity planets.

So you know the drill, come in and see the Crowe-3 in Action today!

This looks like just the kind of 7.0 starter sv made for the new micro warp unit!, Maybe if you had one that didnt need the more high end mats, it would be a definite must for new travelers

I'm a fan of all of your work. I especially like the Crowe series. This one is my favorite. Please keep up the great work.

I bet they are! Not that I don't like bigger ships, I've checked out some of them on your page, and thought they were really amazing! (following)
I've only had the game for a week, and am still playing around in survival. Thinking about trying out creative soon and making some of my own designs. Love games like this.

Thanks! Sometimes the smaller simple desigs tend to do the best job.

But larger small ship gone wild are fun to build!

I really like this design. Ships that have a more "arrow-head" shape like this are much easier to fly, and are easier on fuel than other designs. So many players seem to get carried away with their SV designs, and they become impractical for use in survival, especially if you just play single player. But this is perfect.

@Fractalite First off thanks for the feedback! Crowe-3 is a fun ship. It does have a nice fast acceleration forward, which I quite enjoy.

I could put in 2 more RCS units if needed. I really was going for more of a conventional aircraft feel.

Fractalite your input is always valued and I thank you for choosing ZeroG!

This SV, more than any other SV I have flown since the introduction of the jet thrusters, gives a real rush when you accelerate forwards. It is like I can envision myself being in the cockpit.

Right after my initial response of forward thrust glee, I considered the idea of adding or suggesting more RCS units be added, but the more I think about it, they would just add more weight and take down the other aspects of maneuverability - I have this same problem with HV's, and I do not always balance things very well, tis very tricky. :)

My bet is this is what the developers have been going for since all the re-balancing. Beautiful ship.
