~story:
Once long ago 10 sentient creatures rose to the surface of their world, their first thoughts were "I want to climb higher." This was the first dream, soon they began to learn their environment and utilize their ever powerful bodies, they built massive structures always one bigger than the last. They wished to reach out to the stars, Neomis the strongest of the 10, was appointed leader of their small group, he designed a great machine. He made it perfect, impossibly great. Some time after, they had finally figured out a way to fuel this great machine, their population now at 200 and growing, their bodies were incapable of pain, viral and bacterial infection, and their advanced minds prevented death by means of the other creatures that inhabited their cold stone world. Soon they built many great machines and finally left their planet for the first time. What they discovered not only amazed them but gave them a new goal. They now wished to make another, they felt a new emotion never before felt, loneliness. They felt a great emptiness despite being together they felt apart collectively. They decided to be gods, and created a seed, it was then promptly shot into the darkness of space. After some time they found its landing sight only, to their surprise, they found their work come to life. A strange race of crystal beings rose from the seed, their bodies impossibly strong, their limbs fast, yet with no eyesight, hearing, or ability to feel their environment.
2Billion decons later....
The "Faeronis" as the gods called them, were versatile builders despite their disabilities. They built great starships as if to follow in the footsteps of their creators even though they had no comprehension of their 'gods'. What the Crystal people found in the stars broke them, they realities crushed at the thought that they had been the creation of another. They soon came to terms with this strange new reality, many questions came after. The gods were no longer lonely and shared their knowledge with the Crystal people. This loneliness was soon felt again when the Crystal people left in their starships to find a new horizon, something else to live for....
250 dicons later....
After their great voyage among the stars, they had finally found something. A massive object at the center of the universe. Its beauty drew the Crystal people to it, soon they chose it would be best to stay and protect this new found object forever. The gods were not far behind, and had discovered the mysterious object. Its power was immense, it drew them inside it... It was a whole new dimension, but different... They tried to comprehend it as they might but to no end. On the outside the Crystal peoples began to war with each other over the object driving themselves to madness over its mysteries. One side, the reds, said that it was theirs and they would not allow the gods to enter, whilst the others decided it would be best to protect it and let the gods uncover its great mysteries. The gods found of this war and locked themselves in the object, hoping that someday the Crystal peoples would end their foolish wars. This would come to be wrong....
6000 Decons later....
By now there are over 10 intelligent races among the stars, they Crystalline even to this dicon protect the object patiently awaiting their creators return. They emerge to the cries of many. Their emergance brings a great disturbance, and they quickly begin to attack many of the nearby races trying to stop the war. But time leads to evolution and the gods were no longer an impossible power...
