Resource - Mint Includes Copper

Description
This mod adds the luxury ressource : 'Copper' to the Mint's benefits and requirements.

Features:
  • Mints can now be built in a city if it has Copper within its city limit. Just like Gold or Silver.

  • Extend the bonus of the Mint building (who already upgrade Gold and Silver) to the Copper ressource.

Notes:
  • Copper is one of the only Luxury ressource that doesnt get any upgrade from buildings making it less appealing compared to other luxury ressources. This mod adress this.
  • Also, from the Civilopedia: :
'A mint is an institution that creates a civilization's currency. In the past this would tend to be metal currency in the form of coins'
Copper Coins seems like a natural addition to the game.

Compatibility:
  • Require Gods and Kings Expansion
  • Compatible with Brave New World Expansion

I think it would make more sense to make this +1 gold. It shouldn't give as much as gold and silver do.

Nevermind, I guess bronze is mostly made from copper.

I thought copper was only valuable in the modern age. Because of pipes and electricity. Can you make a technology that ads copper to the mint in the industrial era?

@East Face

Hi east i dont know about the mod you talk about, but this mod actually edit the Mint, so it think it would work properly.

Would this be compatible/stackable with the other copper mod: Resources - Copper buff?

Glad to see this. I'd wondered why copper wasn't mintable.
