It doesn't hold the kingsmesn feeling. In the movie he slowly fought his way to the podium, in this however, you're encouraged to make your stand at the podium due to the artifical as hell weapon stashe just spewed behind there.
Additionally, there was no giant pirate that took 20 bladed weapon swings to the head to take out...
