BACKGROUND

In the years following the Muslim unification of Arabia, many Caliphs tried and failed to conquer the great Byzantine and Sassanid empires, leaving the Arabs broken and isolated in Arabia. 800 years later, in 1444, Arabia has shattered by the many schisms of the faith; in Anatolia, without the relentless flow of Muslim invaders, the Byzantines have held on to some of their homelands, but face great decadence from within; in northern Africa and the Levant, Christian kings vie for power in a mess of many different denominations; and, in Persia, a new dynasty is ready to rise to greatness, but to achieve their bright future, they must first solve the sectarian conflicts at bay. Will you lead the Arabs to their ascendancy in the name of the Prophet, or will you deliver the final blow to His followers?

- Tons of Missions, events, decisions, and more!

we know, but it's kinda is more fun to keep it that way tbh... sometimes we like to have a little... creative liberty. Maybe in the future we will revisit this. (Or make them Monothelite...)

Just a quick clarification: the Ghassanids are often mislabeled as Monophysites but they actually followed Miaphysitism, which teaches that Christ has one united nature that is fully both divine and human without mixing or confusion. True Monophysitism is like Eutychianism which is pretty small group from what i understand. in short syraic isnt mono. for some reason wikipedia is outdated.

as abbasids i helped byzantium overcome their civil war and then had a ten year long war of attrition with aksum 10/10 would jihad for somalia again

something I find annoying is that aq qoyonlu missions really emphasize cavalry since they're a turkic tribe, but none of the missions or ideas actually give permanent bonuses to cavalry, and they're not a horde or tengrist so they don't get any bonuses from that either.
