Update: Major changes, this is now how i originally intended, i know more now than i did then :)
Update: altered some settings to same as vanilla Mars to allow parachute mod to work

my first planet, i cheated, this is part mars and part europa.

Martian soil/rock with Europa heightmap, No platinum, but very rare and hard to find Uranium, and no ore location markers on the planet surface (i know, im evil :D) unable to make this work now, the game auto adds ore location markers regardless.

Has a wind speed of 50 (default is 80), so with vanilla wind turbine, this will only give about 250kW max possible output. Im not sure how the WindTurbine will read when its at its max, it might just hover around Adequate or Good

i didnt create anything, just copied n pasted as i learned, all assets used here are from the vanilla game :D plus the planet tutorial starter kit created by DoctorOctoganapus

Gravity 0.75
Creatures None
Oxygen 0.1-0.2 (very Low)
Surface Ice None
Surface Snow Very Little, at the planetary poles
Subsurface Ice Deep, not easy to find

Martian sounds used.

Fix:
used Europa ore map by mistake, now has Mars ore map, but still no markers to where the ore locations are :D
due to major change in how Ore marker work, they exist, but are difficult to spot
