The Phand class is a severely outdated, yet reliable and versatile ship introduced 42 years ago. The Phand class cargo ships are designed to transport goods within systems and deliver them to high altitude orbital stations. They have spartan interior and provide little comfort. After FTL tows they will need to be repaired extensively thus they can rarely be found outside the core colonies of the empire. However, their Hydrogen thruster support makes them effective designs for private companies and their acceleration still is exquisite, even with full holds.
