Ever tired of those pesky red chests in the Dark Room that never pay out with anything because Edmud hates us?... Sorry that was a tangent. From the creator of The Binding of Isaac: Miscarriage comes Red to Stone Chests. Replaces all the chests in the starting room of the Dark Room with stone chests (or item pedestals) with a guranteed item payout! Thanks to h4uja2 for the idea to make this mod: Reddit Link.

I honestly can't understand why this mod defaults to NOT doing what is literally the one thing it's supposed to do.

Can you make a version where it's gold chests?
Also thanks for this mod, I can finally go to the WAY cooler floor with WAY cooler bosses and not have to stress over missing 4 items (or however many my jera runes and such let me have)

Kinda liked the 1.0 much more to be honest.
I was okay with Forget Me Now bug because it doesn't make Dark Room even more easier. And the way those Stone Chests blocked by rocks looks bad in my opinion. I think i'll stick with older version in reddit link from description.

Hi O'Nightmare,
In Version 1.1 of the Red To Stone mod you'll find that stone chests spawn apart from eachother and are encased in stone as to require you to use a bomb! I hope this is what you were hoping for!

Is it possible to make them unmovable and far from each other? So you need to use 4 default (not counting bombs with increased aoe) bombs to open them.

I am planning an update tonight that will allow you to switch between getting stone chests or just plain pedestals!
