No_Sectors

Description

Mod version: 1.7.0
Game version: 1.8.* Čapek & Synthetic Dawn.
Last updated: 2017.10.06

"The Sectors" a controversial issue, my opinion is wrong. I believe that the sectors should be a tool that will help you to manage your empire favorably and make things easier for you. Although it has a few negative points as big as the favorable ones. Which I will list and you will see my reasons for doing this mod as it should be more just and logical:
  • Now that we can draw resources from the sector, it has a cost of influence.
  • Second, it seems that Paradox thinks that we are not capable of handling more than 3 systems, which can mean to handle between 3 and 8 average planets at most.
  • Third, it seems that the same Paradox do not believe that their IA knows or can handle more than 2 sectors. Which gives us tremendous confidence in them of course. And consequently in their AI to handle the economy of the sectors and that they improved it the last time that they made an update.

The mod fixes all those problems described above with the sectors converting them into the tool that should be as follows:
  1. Increases the number of systems controlled by the player from the initial 3 to 666 without penalties.
  2. It also increases the number of sectors that can be created without penalties of 2 to 100.
  3. Overriding the cost of influence when taking resources from the sector.

Again, it works correctly on other mods or complete modifications, as long as the other mods do not alter the values that are already changed from the original 00_defines.txt file.

Update v. 1.4.0:
Inverted the buttons of the sectors that enter minerals and energy credits from the empire to the sector. Now they go from the sector to the empire in the same proportion, of 100 in 100.

Update v. 1.5.0:
  • Update to version 1.5.0 Banks & DLC Utopia
  • Remove the cancellation of the penalty for exceeding the systems allowed to be controlled, and also in the sectors.
  • Now incompatible with mods that interfere with file 00_defines.txt

Update v. 1.5.1:
Fixed problem of incompatibility with other mods that modify the file 00_defines.txt

Actualización v. 1.6.0:
  • Update to version 1.6.0 Adams.
  • Overriding the cost of influence when taking resources from the sector.

Actualización v. 1.7.0:
  • Update to version 1.8.0 Čapek.
  • The cost of influence when removing systems from the sector is no longer void, it is no longer necessary.

"WERWOLF-SS", it doesn't work for you, but you could explain a bit, because I guess the steps of subscribing and activating the mod in the launcher tab have done so. Have you activated any mod? Because it may be incompatible if you try to modify the same values as this mod does.

Deleting the mod from the mods folder on my mac made it work after I resubscribed. Thanks for that tip!

I think that for you to update it on your Mac you'll have to delete it completely and resubscribe. In Steam the mod's have a reference number to identify them, this mod is 842477664, look for where the mod is installed and delete the files, and be careful not to leave anything. Because in windows it is installed in 2 different places, one side is a kind of listing of the mods of that game, in this case Stellaris (nº in Steam 281990 of the game Stellaris), and the other where the mod is compressed in the installation of steam.

It doesn't seem to want to let me update to version 1.7. I've unsubscribed and resubscribed multiple times and it still won't update.
