A kid and his Thurmbo

The last thing the kid could remember was the fire and the smoke. Among that were bloody screams and sadistic laughters. Sounds of bones crunching and splitting echoed from all around him. It was simple luck that he lived. A broken leg, trapped under a pile of fallen debries, stuck and concealed from the beings that would be an insult to those who actually consider them to be human.

The fire spreads, and it seemed as though he was doomed to death. That was until a great beast of white fur and incredible height pulled him from the wreckage... a beast very few have seen in their lives. A beast that avoided any and all human contact. A beast that would forever be called a friend.

The horrors of the past will forever scar the young colonist. But the future is still ahead. Survival will be his to maintain.
