Description
- Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli v1.21 for rFactor 2 -

Converted from the rFactor 1 track and updated to rFactor 2 standards by senormen.

All textures, materials, shaders, every poly has been reworked to bring the track model up to rFactor 2 standards and has been a WIP since at least build 930.

Have tried to make the track look as near to recent videos and pictures available with a few additions.

Changes from original model to bring it more up to date include but not restricted to:
the pitlane wall being extended,
-runoff areas added.
-full night lighting added around the track and to outside
the track too.
-track mesh resolutiom increased for real road and groove mapped to fast path.
-grass and terrain reworked with latest shader, grandstands and spectators added.
-track officials and cornerworkers added.
-team members added, pitlights and signs added, animated flags added.
-trees added set to billboard.
-flowers added around the track.

Credit to ISI / S397 for various assets and for rFactor 2.

I'm going to try this out, but recording to the comments, the experience should be off.

It shouldn't be this bumpy.

Nice track. Sadly the road mesh feels as it is made from cobblestones :-( Theres a constant rubling/shaking in the Simucube wheel

@Feix . . . according to the track website a lap is 4.226 km . . . a lap of this track model is 4.278 km . . .

On this Track I have the same problem as in rf1. I cannot reach the times, that F4 Italy is doing with the same Car and even higher Grip settings. Is it possible, that the Track is longer than the Real one? I understand that I am 1 -2 Seconds slower than real Drivers, but 8-10?
Every Advice is helpful

i second that. With MCLaren Mp4/8 - undrivable bumpy

@senormen Yes correct. Try the Tatuus USF17 for example. The most problematic area is approaching turn 8 (Quercia), then down the straight on the left side to turn 9 and 10 (Tramonto). Most of the circuit seems to be affected by this problem but these areas are the most pronounced.

by formula cars you mean open wheelers ? . . . like tatuus ?

Also experiencing the crazy bumpiness. With no damping on in the ffb it causes excessive vibration through the wheel. Regardless of the ffb damping settings, in VR the excessive car shaking and vibration is too noticeable and makes it near undrivable in formula cars. There must be something causing this in the track file as it only happens on this circuit, very similar to a flat spot as others have said. Other than this it's a great circuit in terms of layout and quality so thankyou all the same.

@senormen I just installed the track yesterday. There is not differend version installed.
Maybe the road surface is a little bumpy? Fanatec Wheelbase has no deadzone at the centre, that could explain why the problem is not happen in a logitech wheel.
@fsuarez79 what is you wheelbase?
