Description
A limbo of darkness where only the souls of living things can be distinguished. In other words, an annoying challenge where you cant tell exactly who is who? (most of the enemies are replaced by flames), how much hp you have left? and where you are?. Partially inspired by an old-ish show that probably nobody remembers.

What to expect?
– 1 Challenge
– Ability to look into your enemies soul (if they have one, some dont 😉 )
– Tons of frustration.

Tips
– Pay attention to the shadows that appear right when you enter the room and try to remember them.
– Mob spawners such as portals and sacks let you see the newed spawned mob’s shadow for a lil sec (same effect as the room transition), so pay attention to that.
– Be carefull with boses, their Soul is small but they are still big as balls.

FAQ?
– Their hitboxes are big and the flame is small!
Souls are equally sized for everyone, so be carefull.

– I entered a room and everyone died instantly!
Normal flames (non-mob ones) get cleared to avoid confusion. They were never mobs to begin with.

– I can see the mob’s silhouette for a lil while
Yes, that’s intended, it’s to give you a short hint of who are you dealing with (sometimes the period of time you can look at them can be too short or too long, I may take a look at that in a future update if people are concerned about this).

ENJOY THE MOD
I thought about adding an item that has this kind of effect too…but, who would pick it up?. It would need to be quite OP to be worth this annoyances…that being said, if I come up with something, that wouldn’t completely destroy your run on pick-up, then I’ll bundle an item with this mod.

Ya, the problem is that, when custom rooms are involved, it's almost impossible to keep the main game intact....thats why the Pacman mod, for example, messes up the real game.
Personally, I'll just stay away from custom rooms until thats fixed because I, myself, find annoying as sht to go and constantly enable/disable mods.

Thank you! That's actually the reason that I don't install mods like the Pacman mod, because I have to go into my mods and turn it off every time.

Yes, all of my challenges work that way...I do my best to isolate them so you can keep my mods installed without messing your normal runs :)

No, what I was trying to ask was if the enemies were only affected while playing the challenge. As in it wouldn't be in effect in a normal run for some weird lua reason.

WonderNoah, Thanks a lot!.
The answer to your question would be...."yes?", because I'm not sure myself. The challenge is that you cant tell who is who most of the time and the way this is achieved is by replacing everything with a flame, which is an effect. So ya, i guess it's a "effects challenge" :P

So, this only effects the challenge, right?

Also, love both of these mods by you! <3
